Erik Larsen (rower)
Erik Christian Larsen (20 February 1928 – 10 April 1952) was a Danish rower who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was born in Herfølge, Køge Municipality and died in Ringsted, Region Sjælland. In 1948 he was a crew member of the Danish boat which won the bronze medal in the coxed four event. Herfølge
Herfølge is a suburb of the town of Køge, Denmark, located about 5 kilometers south of Køge, and is a part of Køge Municipality. The suburb is connected to Køge and Næstved by the Lille Syd railway line. Residential areas Holmebækhuse, is well known settlement in Herfølge, build in 1982 the townhouses/ terrace houses are located south east of Herfølge, and buildings are divided in three areas, in three colours red, green and most commonly blue. Rowing is the act of propelling a human-powered watercraft using the sweeping motions of oars to displace water and generate reactional propulsion.
