Erik Johansson Vasa (c. 1470 – 8 November 1520) was a Swedish noble and the Lord of Rydboholm Castle in Roslagen. His son would rule as King Gustav I of Sweden from 1523–1560. Biography He was born around the year 1470 to Johan Kristiernsson Vasa and Birgitta Gustafsdotter Sture in a village named Örby in the province of Uppland, Sweden. He was one of four children from Johan and Birgitta. His father Johan was a first cousin of Knut Tordsson (Bonde), father of King Charles VIII of Sweden. His mother Birgitta was a sister of Sten Sture the Elder. Erik Johansson Vasa was a faithful adherent of the Stures, a powerful and influential family in Sweden from the late 15th century to the early 16th century, and was notorious for his irritable and arbitrary temper. Erik Gunnar "Epa" Johansson (29 September 1927 – 16 December 1992) was a Swedish ice hockey player. Between 1947 and 1959 he played 142 international matches and scored 73 goals. He won an Olympic bronze in 1952 and the world title in 1953, finishing second in 1947 and 1951 and third in 1954. He was also a Swedish champion with Södertälje SK in 1953 and 1956. Erik Johansson (born April 1985) is a Swedish-born artist based in Prague who creates surreal images by combining photographic elements and other materials into surreal scenes. He combines images to create what looks like a real photograph, but creates logical inconsistencies to impart an effect of surrealism. Biography Erik Johansson was born in April 1985 outside Götene in the rural middle-south of Sweden. Johansson cites his interest in art as having been influenced by his upbringing, especially his grandmother who was a painter. He said that when his mother asked him how his days were at school, he would rather sketch a comic than tell her with words. Early interest in computers came from Johansson's father who owned one for work in the mid 1980s, where Johansson would "escape to other worlds through computer games." Anders Erik Berg ( né ''Johansson'', born 30 December 1988) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Beginning his career at Falkenbergs FF in 2008, he went on to represent GAIS, Malmö FF, Gent, and Copenhagen before retiring at Djurgårdens IF in 2021.
