Eric Roche
Eric Roche (4 December 1967 – 6 September 2005) was an Irish fingerstyle guitarist. Biography Roche was born in New York City, after which his family moved to Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. He was an accountant, but practised only for a short time before enlisting for classical guitar at the London Musician's Institute in 1992. After his degree he became head of its guitar department in 1996 and released his first CD ''The Perc U Lator'' three years later. In 2000 he became head of guitar at Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where his pupils included Newton Faulkner. In 2001 his second CD ''Spin'' was released. In 2004 Roche issued his third album ''With These Hands'' and released his book ''The Acoustic Guitar Bible'', a guide to acoustic guitar playing with a foreword by Tommy Emmanuel. Classical Music

Blue In Green
"Blue in Green" is the third tune on Miles Davis' 1959 album, '' Kind of Blue''. One of two ballads on the LP (the other being " Flamenco Sketches"), the melody of "Blue in Green" is very modal, incorporating the presence of the Dorian, Mixolydian, and Lydian modes. This is the only tune on which Cannonball Adderley sits out. Background It has long been speculated that pianist Bill Evans wrote "Blue in Green", even though the LP and most jazz fakebooks credit only Davis with its composition. In his autobiography, Davis maintains that he alone composed the pieces on ''Kind of Blue.'' The version on Evans' trio album ''Portrait in Jazz'', recorded in 1959, credits the tune to "Davis-Evans". Earl Zindars, in an interview conducted by Win Hinkle, stated that "Blue in Green" was indeed "100-percent Bill's." Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963), known professionally as Seal, is a British singer. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide. These include hit songs "Crazy" and " Killer", the latter of which went to number one in the UK, and his most celebrated song, " Kiss from a Rose", which was released in 1994. Seal is renowned for his distinctive soulful singing voice. Seal has won multiple awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards; he won Best British Male in 1992. He has also won four Grammy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. "Killer" is a song by British acid house DJ and record producer Adamski. Written by Adamski and British singer-songwriter Seal and produced by Adamski, "Killer" was a hit in the United Kingdom, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart and spending four weeks at the top in May and June 1990. "Higher Ground" is a funk song written by Stevie Wonder which first appeared on his 1973 album '' Innervisions''. The song reached number 4 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number 1 on the US Hot R&B Singles chart. Wonder wrote and recorded the song in a three-hour burst of creativity in May 1973. The album version of the song contains an extra verse and runs 30 seconds longer than the single version. The unique wah-wah clavinet sound in the song was achieved with a Mu-Tron III envelope filter pedal. Blues
