Eric Freeman (1970 – August 3, 2021) was an American artist based in New York City. Freeman was born in Brooklyn. He painted on linen with oils, creating abstract landscapes which reference Color Field painting and optical illusions. Eric Freeman (cricketer)
Eric Walter "Fritzy" Freeman (13 July 1944 – 14 December 2020) was an Australian cricketer who played in 11 Test matches from 1968 to 1970. He was also a leading Australian rules footballer with Port Adelaide Football Club, playing 116 games between 1964 and 1972, kicking 390 goals, and playing in their 1965 premiership team. Life Born in Semaphore, South Australia, Freeman played cricket for South Australia from 1964–65 to 1973–74. He toured with Australian teams to New Zealand in 1966–67, England in 1968, and India and South Africa in 1969–70. His only first-class century was 116 for the Australians against Northamptonshire in 1968, scored in 90 minutes with five sixes and 13 fours. His best bowling figures were 8 for 47 for South Australia against the New Zealand team in 1967–68 (11 for 97 in the match). Eric Freeman (8 September 1932 – 29 October 2023) was an English farmer and broadcaster. Biography Freeman was born into a dairy farming family in 1932. He completed his formal education at the age of 16. Later, he and his brother Barrie established a poultry processing business that expanded with the introduction of electric plucking machines. By the late 1970s, the Freeman brothers' operation had grown to process 40,000 birds weekly. In the late 1980s, Freeman shifted his focus towards the conservation of rare livestock breeds, notably working to prevent the extinction of Old Gloucester cattle, a breed once prevalent in his region. His efforts extended to other traditional breeds such as the Gloucester Old Spots pig and the Cotswold sheep, contributing to their preservation at a time when such breeds were not widely recognized for their value.
