Eric DeCosta
Eric DeCosta (born April 10, 1971) is an American football executive who is the executive vice president and general manager for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL), a position he officially assumed on January 11, 2019. DeCosta has been with the Ravens organization since 1996 and previously served as assistant general manager under Ozzie Newsome from 2012 to 2018. Early life and education DeCosta attended high school at Taunton High School (Taunton, Massachusetts) and played college football at Colby College, where he served as team captain in 1992 under head coach, Tom Austin.. General Manager (American Football)
In the National Football League, the general manager (GM) of a team typically controls player transactions and bears the primary responsibility on behalf of the team during contract discussions with players. The general manager is also normally the person who hires and fires the coaching staff, including the head coach. The general manager will in many cases have oversight of the entire football department, typically reporting to the team president/CEO and/or owner. However, some teams have the GM act in advisory role with the head coach having oversight of the football operations (including the GM). Some teams do not have official general managers, but instead have a ''de facto'' GM. Similar positions include President of Football Operations. Bart Scott
Bartholomew Edward Scott (born August 18, 1980) is an American sports analyst and former football player. Scott was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. After playing college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis, he was signed by the NFL's Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2002. Scott was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2006. After playing his first seven years with the Ravens, Scott signed with the New York Jets in 2009. He would play his final four seasons for the Jets. Jason W. Brown (born May 5, 1983) is a former American football center and current farmer. He played college football at North Carolina and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Dawan Frank Landry (born December 30, 1982) is a former American football strong safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football at Georgia Tech. College career While at Georgia Tech, he majored in Management. Edgerton "Ed" Hartwell II (born May 27, 1978) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at Western Illinois and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Chester Lamar Taylor (born September 22, 1979) also known as Che Tay is a former American football running back in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. In 2006, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings and played four seasons before signing with the Chicago Bears. Anthony Lee Weaver (born July 28, 1980) is an American football coach and former player who is the associate head coach and defensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He previously coached for the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and New York Jets. Kyle Patrick Juszczyk ( ; born April 23, 1991) is an American football fullback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). Raymell Mourice Rice (born January 22, 1987) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. Benjamin Richard Grubbs (born March 10, 1984) is a former American football guard. He played college football at Auburn University, and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He has also played for the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs. Early years Grubbs was born in Columbus, Georgia. He was raised in Eclectic, Alabama and attended Elmore County High School where he was the team's star linebacker. Grubbs registered 150 tackles, six sacks, and an interception as a senior.
