Eric Chua Swee Leong ( zh, s=蔡瑞隆, p=Cài Ruìlóng; born 1979) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development concurrently since 2022. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he has been the 14th Parliament of Singapore, Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Queenstown, Singapore, Queenstown division of Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency, Tanjong Pagar GRC since 2020. Prior to entering politics, Chua served in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and had been actively volunteering in grassroots activities with the People's Association (PA) in Tanjong Pagar GRC. 2020 Singaporean General Election
General elections were held in Singapore on Friday, 10 July 2020 to elect 93 members to the Parliament of Singapore across 31 constituencies. Parliament was dissolved and the general election called by President Halimah Yacob on 23 June, on the advice of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
