Eric Alexander (soccer)
Eric Alexander (born April 14, 1988) is an American former professional soccer player. Career College and amateur Alexander attended Portage Central High School, where he was named NSCAA/adidas Boys High School National Player of the Year and Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year in 2005, before playing college soccer for the Indiana University Hoosiers from 2006 to 2009. He was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team in his first year, started all 22 matches and was named to the All-Big Ten first-team and the NSCAA/adidas Great Lakes All-Region second-team as a sophomore and a junior. During his college years Alexander also played for Kalamazoo Kingdom, West Michigan Edge and Kalamazoo Outrage in the USL Premier Development League. Portage, Michigan
Portage is a city in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, Kalamazoo County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 46,292 in the United States Census, 2010, 2010 census. Mauro Andrés Manotas Páez (born 15 July 1995) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga MX club Atlas. 2015 Major League Soccer Season
The 2015 Major League Soccer season featured 20 total clubs (17 based in the United States, 3 based in Canada). The regular season was held from March 6 through to October 25, whereas the MLS Cup Playoffs began on October 28 and ended with MLS Cup 2015 on December 6. The defending MLS Cup champions were the LA Galaxy, while Seattle Sounders FC were the defending Supporters' Shield winners. It was the first season for expansion teams Orlando City and New York City, who both joined the Eastern Conference, while both the Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City moved from the Eastern Conference to the Western Conference. Felipe Campanholi Martins, sometimes known as just Felipe (born 30 September 1990) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Orlando City of Major League Soccer. The Supporters' Shield is an annual award given to the Major League Soccer team with the best regular season record, as determined by the MLS points system.
