is a Japanese freestyle wrestler. Wrestling career She competes in the 48 kg division and won the silver medal in the same division at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships. Her performance improved in the 2013 World Wrestling Championships where she won the gold medal after defeating Mayelis Caripá of Venezuela. She won the 2016 Rio Olympic gold medal for Women's 48 kg freestyle wrestling by 3-2 decision over Mariya Stadnik of Azerbaijan. She was trailing by a point till very late. She was successful to convert a take down with two seconds remaining on the clock to win the gold medal bout. Personal life Tosaka is married to Kazuma Kuramoto, a Japanese mixed martial artist. The are Japanese professional wrestling, or ''puroresu'', awards that have been handed out by the ''Tokyo Sports'' magazine annually since 1974. The most publicized awards in Japanese professional wrestling, they are recognized by all the major promotions in the country, including All Japan Pro Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Noah. The awards are voted for by a committee made up of people involved with Japanese professional wrestling, including reporters and photographers. Mariya Stadnik ( uk, Марія Василівна Стадник; Mariya Vasylivna Stadnyk; born 3 June 1988) is a Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani female wrestler. She is a four-time Olympic medalist. Personal life Stadnik was born on 3 June 1988 in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. She is married to Ukrainian wrestler Andriy Stadnik. Her sister-in-law, Yana Rattigan, competes in the same weight category as Mariya. Career In 2006, Stadnik was disqualified for a period of one year for failing a doping test in 2006. The 2013 Summer Universiade, officially known as the XXVII Summer Universiade (russian: XXVII Летняя Универсиада), was held in the city of Kazan, Russia, the most northerly city ever to host a Summer Universiade. Over 10,400 university athletes from 162 countries participated in 13 mandatory and 14 optional sports, making the 2013 Universiade the biggest ever in the history of the event. For the first time in history a Cultural Universiade was also included, with many festivals and shows held simultaneously with the sporting events.
