The Gymnastics Club «Ergotelis» Heraklion Crete ( el, Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος «O Εργοτέλης» Ηρακλείου Κρήτης, Γ.Σ. Nikos Kazantzakis Stadium
The «Nikos Kazantzakis» Stadium ( el, Γήπεδο «Νίκος Καζαντζάκης»), formerly known as Ergotelis Stadium and more commonly as Martinengo Stadium, is a football stadium located on the ''Martinengo'' bastion, part of the fortifications of Heraklion, on the island of Crete. It is named after Modern Greek literature giant Nikos Kazantzakis, whose grave is also located on the same bastion. The Pan-Hellenic Women's Football Championship ( el, Πανελλήνιο Πρωτάθλημα Γυναικών), also known as the Panelinio Protathlima or Women's Alpha Ethniki, is the highest professional women's association football, football league in Greece. The Pan-Hellenic Women's Football Championship was founded in 1987. Prior to 1990, the championship was organised by the regional football associations. In 1990, the Hellenic Football Federation created a committee on women's football which organized the championship. 2022–23 Greek A Division (women's Football)
The 2022–23 Greek A Division is the 34th season of the women's football top-level league in Greece. PAOK won their 9th consecutive title and their 18th overall. Format The Greek A Division for the 2022–23 season will be held in 2 groups of 8 teams, 16 teams in total. The separation of the teams into these groups will take place based on geographical criteria. The league will be held in two phases: the first phase will be the regular season and the second phase will be a play-off round. After the final ranking of the teams of Phase 1, the teams that will occupy the first 3 positions in each of the two groups will compete in play-off matches to crown a champions for the 2022–23 season.
