The Heraklion Football Clubs Association ( el, Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Ηρακλείου or Ε.Π.Σ.Η.) is an association responsible for administering football in the region of Heraklion. It is based in the city of Heraklion and is a member of the Hellenic Football Federation. The association is responsible for organizing regional Championship and Cup competitions for both adult and youth teams playing in its divisions. The «Nikos Kazantzakis» Stadium ( el, Γήπεδο «Νίκος Καζαντζάκης»), formerly known as Ergotelis Stadium and more commonly as Martinengo Stadium, is a football stadium located on the ''Martinengo'' bastion, part of the fortifications of Heraklion, on the island of Crete. It is named after Modern Greek literature giant Nikos Kazantzakis, whose grave is also located on the same bastion. 2013–14 Super League Greece
The 2013–14 Super League Greece was the 78th season of the highest football league of Greece and the eighth under the name Super League. The season began on 17 August and ended in May 2014. Olympiacos are the champions, having won their 41st Greek championship. The league comprises fourteen teams from the 2012–13 season and four promoted teams from the 2012–13 Football League. The Pankritio Stadium ( el, Παγκρήτιο Στάδιο, ''Pagkritio Stadio'', literally: ''Pancretan Stadium'') is a multi-purpose sports stadium located in Heraklion on the island of Crete. It was completed on 31 December 2003, and officially opened on 11 August 2004. The 2021–22 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the third season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system. The season started on 6 November 2021 and will finish in May 2022. The league will be conducted of 34 teams and two groups, this is due to the restructure and abolishment of the Football League. The league will also see the introduction of B Teams of Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK Athens and Panathinaikos. B Teams are ineligible for promotion. Nikos Badimas ( gr, Νίκος Μπαδήμας; born 16 December 1974) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Career Playing career As a player, Badimas started from the infrastructure segments of Panionios, where he played for the U−19 squad. He then spent the rest of his playing career with P.A.O. Rouf, Foinikas Kallithea, A.O. Terpsithea, Charavgiakos, Thriamvos and AO Trachones. Coaching career Badimas began his coaching career in Kaisariani, followed by Dafni Palaio Faliro and AO Terpsithea. The Super League Greece 2 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λίγκα 2) is the 28 team two-group second division of professional football in Greece, being a feeder-league to the top-level Super League usually played from September to May. History The league was founded in 2019, after the restructuring of the Greek football league championships, replacing the Football League (former Beta Ethniki) as the second level in the league pyramid.
