''Eraserheads Anthology'' is a compilation album by Philippines, Filipino alternative rock band Eraserheads. It was released by BMG Records, Musiko Records & Sony Music Philippines, BMG Records (Pilipinas), Inc. in 2004. It was the band's first greatest hits compilation album since their breakup in 2002. ''Anthology'' was first released in a two-disc set. Eraserheads (sometimes stylized as ERASƎRHEADS or ƎRASƎRHƎADS) are a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 1989. With a line-up comprising Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, the band became one of the most influential and successful in the history of Filipino music. Ang Huling El Bimbo
"Ang Huling El Bimbo" ('The Last El Bimbo') is a song composed by Ely Buendia of the Philippine pop/rock band Eraserheads, for their 1995 studio album ''Cutterpillow''. It received extensive airplay after its release and ranked #2 on RX 93.1's "Top 20 OPM Requests of 1996". It is the only Tagalog song included in the band's international compilation album, '' Aloha Milkyway'' (1998). The song's music video catapulted the band's success outside the Philippines by bagging the 'International Viewer's Choice Awards for Asia' at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards. Ryan Cayabyab
Raymundo Cipriano Pujante Cayabyab (born ; May 4, 1954), known professionally as Ryan Cayabyab, is a Filipino musician, composer and conductor. He was the Executive and Artistic Director for several years for the defunct San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts. He was named as National Artist of the Philippines for Music in 2018. His works range from commissioned full-length ballets, theater musicals, choral pieces, a Mass set to unaccompanied chorus, and orchestral pieces, to commercial recordings of popular music, film scores and television specials. ''Fruitcake'' (stylized ''fRUiTCaKe'') is the fourth studio album of the Filipino band Eraserheads, released in December 6, 1996, by BMG Records (Pilipinas), Inc. It is also the official Christmas album and was accompanied by a separate storybook, also called ''Fruitcake''. It can be categorized as a musical itself and to date, there has only been one theater musical adaptation of it - the Eraserheads' Fruitcake Musical 2010. Unlike the band's other albums which feature either English or Tagalog lyrics, ''Fruitcake'' is 100% English. ''Natin99'' is the Eraserheads' sixth studio album. It was released by BMG Records (Pilipinas), Inc. in 1999 and the first Eraserheads album that came out of a non-linear recording approach, in which most of the musical parts were recorded separately in their respective home studios and pieced together by the band and producer Robin Rivera. Its title is a play on words for the year 1999. Title The album's title is a word play on 1999, with "19" being replaced with "natin" (the Filipino term for "our"). ''Sticker Happy'' (stylized in lowercase as ''sticker happy'') is the fifth studio album of the Filipino rock band Eraserheads. It was released under BMG Records (Pilipinas) Inc. on September 11, 1997. Produced by longtime collaborator Robin Rivera, the album contains eighteen tracks with a 67-minute runtime. Francis Michael Durango Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009), also known by the moniker Francis M, was a Filipino rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, and television personality. Born in Manila, He became a significant influence to artists in the Pinoy hip-hop scene and the local rap community.
