Eraser
An eraser (also known as a rubber in some Commonwealth countries, including South Africa from the material first used) is an article of stationery that is used for removing marks from paper or skin (e.g. parchment or vellum). Erasers have a rubbery consistency and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Some pencils have an eraser on one end. Less expensive erasers are made from synthetic rubber and synthetic soy-based gum, but more expensive or specialized erasers are made from vinyl, plastic, or gum-like materials. At first, erasers were invented to erase mistakes made with a pencil; later, more abrasive ink erasers were introduced. Susan Beschta
Susan Marie Beschta (April 21, 1952 – May 2, 2019), who performed as Susan Springfield, was the founder and lead singer of Erasers, a band that headlined at CBGB in the 1970s. She became a solo artist in the 1980s and then trained as a lawyer to start a new career. After graduating from the CUNY School of Law, she fought human rights cases for Catholic Charities. She was sworn in as a federal judge in 2018. Early life and education She was born Susan Marie Beschta on April 21, 1952, in Appleton, Wisconsin – one of five children of a Catholic couple, Gerald and Jean Beschta. The culture was traditional and her father was keen on sports but, while she was fond of the place, she chose a different path. ''Eraser'' is the second studio album by American alternative hip hop duo The Knux, released September 27, 2011, on Cherrytree and Interscope Records. The album was preceded by the release of two singles, the first being "She's So Up", followed by "Run" featuring Kid Cudi. Much like their debut effort '' Remind Me in 3 Days...'' (2008), the album's production was handled entirely by The Knux themselves, however unlike their debut, it features several guest appearances, including Natalia Kills, Jack Davey, Blake Miller and Kid Cudi. ''The Arrival'' is the ninth studio album by Swedish death metal band Hypocrisy, released on 16 February 2004. It is the last album with their longtime drummer Lars Szöke. ''Eraser'' is a 1996 American action film directed by Chuck Russell and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vanessa Williams, James Caan, James Coburn, and Robert Pastorelli. Eraser is an open-source secure file erasure tool available for the Windows operating system. It supports both file and volume wiping. Eraser securely erases data by overwriting it such that the data is irrecoverable. It supports a variety of data destruction standards, including British HMG IS5 (Infosec Standard 5), American DoD 5220.22-M, and the Gutmann method which features a 35-pass overwrite.
