Efrem Dale Hill (born July 23, 1983) is a former professional gridiron football wide receiver. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers in 2005. He played college football for the Samford Bulldogs. Hill was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Edmonton Eskimos, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Georgia Fire. Early years Hill attended North Springs High School in Atlanta, Georgia. During his senior season, he had 680 yards passing and 943 yards rushing. Hill started at quarterback from his sophomore-senior seasons, earning the team's Best Back Award for two consecutive seasons and the Coach's Corner Award. Efrem Zimbalist Sr. ( – February 22, 1985) was a concert violinist, composer, conductor and director of the Curtis Institute of Music. Early life Efrem Zimbalist Sr. was born on April 9, 1888, O. S., equivalent to April 21, 1889, in the Gregorian calendar, as reported in many newspaper obituaries, in the southwestern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, the son of Jewish parents Maria (née Litvinoff) and Aron Zimbalist (Цимбалист, Russian pronunciation ), who was a conductor. Efrem "The Bean" Schulz (born December 16, 1974) is an American punk rock singer of Mexican descent, best known for his work with Death by Stereo. As of Paul Miner's departure in 2005, he is the only remaining original member of the band. He also took over as lead singer of Voodoo Glow Skulls following the departure of "Frank Voodoo" Casillas, and is the frontman for the Chicano-themed punk parody band Manic Hispanic. He was previously in a band called ''Clint'' (named so because of a friend named Clint), who released two demos, a 7 Inch, and a full-length disc. Ephrem Marie M'Bom (18 July 1954 – 20 September 2020) was a Cameroonian professional footballer. He competed for the Cameroon national football team at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Club career M'Bom began playing football with Rail FC of Douala in 1973 as an attacking player. He would move to left back in 1975, and play as a defender for Eclair Douala, Léoprad Douala, Canon Yaoundé and Dragon Yaoundé until he retired in 1989. Nicknamed ''Wire'' due to his slender build, he won five league titles with Canon as well as two Champions Cups and a Cup Winners Cup. Efrem Kurtz (russian: Ефрем Курц; November 7, 1900June 27, 1995) was a Russian conductor. Life and career Kurtz was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He studied at the Saint Petersburg conservatory with Alexander Glazunov and Nikolai Tcherepnin, among others. He then pursued graduate studies at Riga University and the Stern Conservatory in Berlin. He later was a pupil of Arthur Nikisch in Leipzig. Kurtz made his conducting debut in Berlin in 1921 while a student at the Stern Conservatory when he substituted for an ill Nikisch to accompany the dancer Isadora Duncan on tour. This led to a number of concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic. From 1924 to 1933 he conducted the Stuttgart Philharmonic, and in 1928, Kurtz was engaged by Anna Pavlova to accompany her dancing, which he did until her death in 1931. Efrem Leone Pio Forni (10 January 1889 – 26 February 1976) was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Nuncio to Belgium and Internuncio to Luxembourg from 1953 to 1962, and was elevated to the Cardinalate in 1962. Ephraim (; he, ''ʾEp̄rayīm'', in pausa: ''ʾEp̄rāyīm'') was, according to the Book of Genesis, the second son of Joseph ben Jacob and Asenath. Asenath was an Ancient Egyptian woman whom Pharaoh gave to Joseph as wife, and the daughter of Potipherah, a priest of ʾĀwen. Ephraim was born in Egypt before the arrival of the Israelites from Canaan. The Book of Numbers lists three sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Beker, and Tahan. However, 1 Chronicles 7 lists eight sons, including Ezer and Elead, who were killed in an attempt to steal cattle from the locals. After their deaths he had another son, Beriah.
