Eparistera Daimones
''Eparistera Daimones'' is the debut album by Swiss extreme metal band Triptykon, the most recent musical project of Thomas Gabriel Fischer (a.k.a. Tom G. Warrior), founding member of the pioneering heavy metal bands Hellhammer and Celtic Frost and industrial project Apollyon Sun. The album was released by Prowling Death Records Ltd., under a licensing agreement with Century Media Records on 22 March 2010, and was released by Victor Entertainment Japan on 21 April 2010 with a bonus track, "Shatter". Upon its release, ''Eparistera Daimones'' was met with universal acclaim by both music critics and band fans. ''Eparistera Daimones'' was produced by Thomas Gabriel Fischer and Triptykon guitarist V. Triptykon
Triptykon is a Swiss extreme metal band from Zürich, formed in 2008 by Thomas Gabriel Fischer, founding member of the pioneering heavy metal music, heavy metal bands Hellhammer (band), Hellhammer, Celtic Frost and Apollyon Sun. History Fischer announced his departure from Celtic Frost in May 2008 and shortly afterwards revealed his new project would be entitled Triptykon. The name of the band is the Greek word for "triptych", and is aimed at stating that Triptykon is founding member Thomas Gabriel Fischer's third project after Hellhammer and Celtic Frost. The band logo is inspired by a writing pattern used during the time of the Weimar Republic. ''Monotheist'' is the fifth and final studio album by the Swiss extreme metal band Celtic Frost. The album was released in May 2006 and was the first new recording released by the band in 16 years. Upon its release, the album was met with critical acclaim. Development Preparation and development work for the project had been ongoing since 2000. The first recording sessions for the album started in late October 2002. The band consisted of founding members Martin Eric Ain (bass/vocals) and Tom Gabriel Fischer (voice/guitars/keyboards), along with guitarist/producer Erol Unala, Fischer's long-time songwriting partner. Apollyon Sun was a Swiss industrial metal band formed by singer/guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer and guitarist Erol Unala in early 1995, after the termination of Celtic Frost, Fischer's prior group. The group was unofficially dissolved in 2001 when Fischer invited Erol Unala to contribute to the reformation of Celtic Frost. Their name is taken from the Celtic Frost demo "Under Apollyon's Sun".
