Envole-moi
"Envole-moi" () is a French language song written, composed and recorded by Jean-Jacques Goldman taken from his 1984 album '' Positif''. The single sold over half a million copies and was certified gold. Goldman explained that the song is a "cry for help" by a young man. In yet another live album released in 1989 entitled ''Traces'', part of the song was interpreted by Goldman as part of a medley and introduced after a "guitar duel" between Goldman and Michael Jones, one of his partners in the musical collaboration Fredericks Goldman Jones. Génération Goldman
''Génération Goldman'' is a compilation/tribute album series containing interpretations of the songs of popular French singer and songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. It is released on My Major Company (France) noting that Michaël Goldman, son of the artist is a co-founder of the label. Goldman has not released a studio album since 2001. The original album ''Génération Goldman'' was released on 19 November 2012 on My Major Company France and M 6 Music label as a tribute to Goldman. A follow-up second volume was released on 26 August 2013 entitled ''Génération Goldman Volume 2''. Tal Benyezri (born 12 December 1989), also mononymously known as TAL, is an Israeli-French singer. She was signed to Warner Music France from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, she changed her artist name to TALOULA and became an independent artist. Biography Tal Benyezri was born in Hadera, Israel. Her family immigrated to Paris (France) before her first birthday. Her name means "morning dew" in Hebrew. She was born into a musical home. Her father was a guitar player, her mother a professional singer under the name Sem Azar. Her brother is a songwriter, her aunt Ronit is a world music/percussionist singer in Miami and her cousin Mor is a jazz singer in New-York. Her mom was pregnant on stage with her. ''Du New Morning au Zénith'' is a 1994 double album recorded live by the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. Composed of 31 tracks, it contains many successful songs from Goldman's previous albums and from the trio's two studio albums ''Fredericks Goldman Jones'' and ''Rouge''. It was released on 18 May 1995 and was successful in francophone countries. Recording and releases It was recorded between the 26 April 1994 and the 12 June 1994, first at the New Morning in Paris (the first 14 tracks of the first CD), then during the Rouge concert tour, at the Summum in Grenoble and at the Patinoire de Malley in Lausanne. ''Traces'' is a 1989 album recorded by French singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. It was his second live album and his seventh album overall. It was recorded during the singer's tour 1988, between March and December, in various countries (France, Congo, Belgium). The album was released on 13 March 1989 and spawned two singles which achieved success in France : "Il changeait la vie" (#14), which preceded the album's release, and "Peur de rien blues" (#17). The album was successful on the French chart. Success The album debuted at number two on 9 April 1989 and climbed to number one eight weeks later and stayed there for two consecutive weeks. Jean-Jacques Goldman (; born 11 October 1951) is a French singer-songwriter and music record producer. He is hugely popular in the French-speaking world. Since the death of Johnny Hallyday in 2017 he has been the highest grossing living French pop rock act. Born in Paris and active in the music scene since 1975, he had a highly successful solo career in the 1980s, and was part of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones, releasing another string of hits in the 1990s. He also wrote successful albums and songs for many artists, including ''D'eux'' for Céline Dion, which is the most successful French language record to date.
