Enver Hadri
Enver Hadri (1941 – 25 February 1990) was a Kosovo Albanian human rights activist. According to an Albanian blog AACL, he was assassinated while he stopped at a traffic light in Brussels, by three Yugoslavians allegedly working for State Security Administration (UDBA). This happened in the commune of Saint-Gilles, at the crossroads between the rue St Bernard and the rue de la Victoire. Hadri had with him the list of 32 Albanians killed in Kosovo by Serbia, which he would submit to the European Parliament's Human Rights Committee the next day. He lived in Brussels since 1972 where he worked to put on agenda the human rights of Albanians in Kosovo. The killers were Andrija Lakonić, Veselin Vukotić and Darko Ašanin. Lakonić was killed in Serbia by Vukotić shortly after the murder of Hadri, while Ašanin was first arrested in Greece where he was about to be delivered to Belgian authorities when the Greek Minister of Justice intervened and he was delivered to Serbia. The State Security Service ( hr, Služba državne sigurnosti, sr, Служба државне безбедности; mk, Служба за државна безбедност; sl, Služba državne varnosti), also known by its original name as the State Security Administration, was the secret police organization of Communist Yugoslavia. It was at all times best known by the acronym UDBA, which is derived from the organization's original name in the Serbo-Croatian language: "''Uprava državne bezbednosti''" ("State Security Administration"). Veselin Vukotić (criminal)
Veselin "Vesko" Vukotić (born 12 February 1958) is a Montenegrin criminal and hitman. He was arrested in February 2006 and released from jail in August 2009. Criminal activity Vukotić is best known as one of the assassins of Enver Hadri, a Kosovo-Albanian human rights activist, accused by Yugoslav State Security Service as a CIA and KGB agent. On February 25, 1990, Hadri was shot by Vukotić, Andrija Lakonić, and Darko Ašanin (all employed and contracted by Yugoslav State Security Service ( SDB) at the time) in the Belgian capital Brussels. It is thought that the assassination was ordered by the Yugoslav secret service.
