Enrique Segoviano
Enrique Segoviano (born December 6, 1944, La Romana, Dominican Republic) is a Dominican people (Dominican Republic), Dominican-born Mexican people, Mexican television producer and director. He is best known as director of Chespirito's various 1970s television series as well as for producing and directing the late 1980s-early 1990s variety series ''Anabel Ferreira, Anabel.'' Biography Segoviano began his career on-camera, in the 1966 movie ''Primer dia de clases.'' When Television Independiente de Mexico began in 1969, Segoviano was hired as a staff producer and director. There, he first met Roberto Gomez Bolaños while working on the series ''Sabado de la fortuna''. Then in 1970, Segoviano became director of the ''Chespirito'' television series. In 1973, TIM merged with Telesistema Mexicano to become Televisa; Segoviano then stayed with Televisa. La Romana, Dominican Republic
La Romana is a municipality and capital of the southeastern province of La Romana, opposite Catalina Island. It is one of the 10 largest cities in the Dominican Republic with a population estimated in 2010 at 130,426 within the city limits ( metropolitan population: 214,109), of whom 127,623 are urban and 2,803 are rural. The name ''Romana'' comes from the word "Bomana", a name given by Indians to what is known today as Romana River. The modern La Romana International Airport was opened in 2000. ''100 mexicanos dijeron'' (Spanish for ''One hundred Mexicans said''), later rebranded to ''100 mexicanos dijieron'', is a Mexican version of the Goodson-Todman game show from the 1970s, ''Family Feud'', produced in Mexico City by the Las Estrellas. Raúl Velasco Ramírez (April 24, 1933 – November 26, 2006) was a Mexican host/ producer of the TV show ''Siempre en Domingo'' (''Always on Sunday'') which is his hallmark contribution to the Latin American world and eventually to other parts of the world where Spanish entertainment programs are broadcast. Velasco began this program as co-host of a Sunday afternoon special in 1969 called ''Domingos Espectaculares'' (''Spectacular Sundays''). One of his catch phrases was, "Aún hay más" ("There's more to follow"). The Premios TVyNovelas are presented annually by Televisa and the magazine TVyNovelas to honor the best Mexican television productions, including telenovelas.
