Enrique José Sánchez León (born 16 July 1972) is a Mexican former professional boxer and the former WBA super bantamweight champion. Professional career In 1990, Sánchez won pro debut by stopping veteran Felipe Castillo in the fourth round. NABF Super Bantamweight Championship In March 1997 Enrique defeated American Joe Manzano to win the NABF Super Bantamweight title in a twelve round fight. WBA Super Bantamweight Championship On February 8, 1998 Sánchez won the vacant WBA Super Bantamweight title by upsetting Puerto Rican, former World Boxing Organization world's champion Rafael del Valle over twelve rounds. Enrique G. Sanchez (born July 10, 1996) is an American politician representing the 9th district in the Rhode Island House of Representatives. A member of the Democratic Party, he was first elected in November 2022. Sanchez serves on the House Corporations Committee and the House Special Legislation Committee. Sanchez graduated from Rhode Island College in 2019 with a degree in public relations. His grandfather, Enrique Sánchez Mora, immigrated from Mexico to the United States and settled in Providence, Rhode Island Providence is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Rhode Island. Enrique Sánchez Abulí (born 20 February 1945) is a Spanish comics author, well known for his participation in the Spanish comics industry. His most famous work is the darkly comical gangster comics saga ''Torpedo'' in collaboration with Jordi Bernet. Biography Abulí was born in Palau-del-Vidre, in France. Having tried in a number of professions in various locations in the world, Abulí began his career as a translator and writer of comics in Spain in the early 1980s. With the influential publisher Josep Toutain, Abulí collaborated with the veteran artist Alex Toth to conceive ''Torpedo 1936''. The relationship was short-lived, as Toth withdrew from the project due to creative differences in 1981. He was replaced by the artist Jordi Bernet which started a very productive working relationship and resulted in a long series. Enrique Sánchez Carrasco (28 March 1928 – 19 August 2021) was a Spanish politician and teacher. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), he served as Mayor of Huesca from 1983 to 1995. Biography After earning a law degree from the University of Valencia, Carrasco worked as a secondary school teacher in Tarragona, Valencia, Córdoba, and Huesca. In 1979, Carrasco was elected to serve on the Municipal Council of Huesca and acted as a spokesman for the PSOE within the city. Enrique "Quique" Sánchez Flores (; born 5 February 1965) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a right-back, currently manager of Getafe. He began his professional career with Valencia in 1984, going on to amass La Liga totals of 304 games and 16 goals over 12 seasons and also appearing for Real Madrid and Zaragoza in the competition, retiring in 1997. Internationally, he represented Spain at under-18, under-21 and under-23 levels, appearing with the senior side at the 1990 World Cup.
