Burgos () is a city in Spain located in the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is the capital and most populated municipality of the province of Burgos. Geox-TMC was a Spanish-based road bicycle racing team, registered for 2011 as a UCI Professional Continental team. Established as Saunier Duval–Prodir in 2004, the team has had success in one-day races such as Clásica de San Sebastián. The team's final title sponsors were Geox, an Italian shoe company, and TMC, a multinational company that develops electric transformers with cast resin windings. History After team cyclist Riccardo Riccò was arrested by police following a positive test for doping after the 4th stage of the 2008 Tour de France, the team left the 2008 Tour de France before the 12th stage of the race began. 2010 Vuelta A España
The 2010 Vuelta a España was held from 28 August to 19 September and was won by Vincenzo Nibali. The race began in Seville and ended, as is tradition, in Madrid. The race covered . There was critical analysis that this Vuelta, which commemorates the 75th anniversary of the first edition of the race, was an especially difficult one and that stage 16 was the queen stage. The stage 1 team time trial was held at night. Vattenfall Cyclassics
The Hamburg Cyclassics (currently known as the Bemer Cyclassics for sponsorship purposes) is an annual one-day professional and amateur cycling race in and around Hamburg, Germany. Although the route varies, its distance is always around 250 km. The course's most significant difficulty is Waseberg hill in Blankenese, which is addressed three times in the race finale. Until 2016 it was Germany's only event on the UCI World Tour calendar, before the inclusion of Eschborn-Frankfurt – Rund um den Finanzplatz in 2017.
