Enrique González "La Pulga"
Enrique González Castillo (1890 – January 1, 1957), nicknamed La Pulga (The Flea), was a Cuban singer-songwriter from Santiago de Cuba. His two most famous works are the boleros "Injusta duda" and "Lupina", which have been recorded by artists such as Arsenio Rodríguez and Compay Segundo, respectively. The latter was written for danzonete singer Pablo Quevedo in 1934. His repertoire included boleros, canciones, guarachas and guajiras written by himself. The height of his career took place in the 1930s and '40s in Havana, where he was the guitarist for Benny Moré before he joined Conjunto Matamoros to tour Mexico. In addition, he was part of several other vocal groups, collaborating with famous ''guarachero'' Ñico Saquito. Enrique González Martínez (April 13, 1871 in Guadalajara, Jalisco – February 19, 1952 in Mexico City) was a Mexican poet, diplomat, surgeon and obstetrician. His poetry is considered to be primarily Modernist in nature, with elements of French symbolism. Life Martínez received his early education at home. At the age of 10 he entered preparatory school, the Council Seminary, and the Liceo de Varones (Men's Grammar School) of the State of Jalisco. In 1893 Martínez received his doctorate degree in Guadalajara. During that same year he published a few verses in newspapers and magazines. Soon after receiving his degree, he was named adjunct professor of physiology at the School of Medicine. After two years of professional practice, he left his native city to go to Culiacán, Sinaloa. Enrique "Quique" González Casín (born 16 May 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for SD Eibar as a forward. Club career González was born in Valladolid, Castile and León. He finished his youth career with local club Real Valladolid, and made his senior debut with the reserves in the 2007–08 season, in the Segunda División B. On 27 August 2010, González played his first match as a professional, coming on as a late substitute in a 3–0 home win against Villarreal CF B in the Segunda División. Enrique Tomás González Sepúlveda (born November 22, 1985 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean artistic gymnast, the first of his country to medal at World Cup events, and the first to qualify for a Summer Olympic Games. Enrique César González Lugo (born July 14, 1982) is a Venezuelan former professional baseball pitcher. Playing career González made his first start against the Cincinnati Reds on May 28, 2006, pitching six innings for the Arizona Diamondbacks and giving up only one run. He was in the rotation for a majority of the season, but was inconsistent and pitched out of the bullpen for the last few weeks of the season. On September 17, 2007, he was claimed off waivers by the Washington Nationals. On February 5, 2008, González was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Padres. After appearing in four games, he was sent outright to the minors on April 15. He became a free agent at the end of the season. He signed a minor league deal with the Boston Red Sox in December 2008 and was invited to spring training. Enrique 'Quique' Ramos González (born 7 March 1956) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Madrid, Ramos finished his football formation at Atlético Madrid, making his first-team debut in 1979 and proceeding to be a regular fixture for the following nine years, helping the capital side to the 1985 Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España.
