Enrico Morin
Enrico Morin (1841–1910) was an Italian admiral and politician who held several cabinet posts. Early life and education Morin was born in Genoa on 5 May 1841. His father was an officer of the commissariat of the royal navy of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Between 1852 and 1857 he attended the royal navy school in Genoa. Military and political career Morin joined the campaign of 1860–1861 as a lieutenant. He was named the commander of the Garibaldi corvette in a world tour in the period 1879–1882. He taught tactics and ballistics at the Genoa navy school and then taught naval art at the Turin war school. He was promoted to rear admiral in 1888 and served as the undersecretary of the navy and commander of the naval academy. Then he was promoted to vice admiral and was appointed minister of navy in two cabinets led by Prime Minister Francesco Crispi. The Royal Victorian Order (french: Ordre royal de Victoria) is a dynastic order of knighthood established in 1896 by Queen Victoria. Giuseppe Saracco
Giuseppe Saracco (6 October 1821 – 19 January 1907) was an Italian politician, financier, and Knight of the Annunziata. Background and earlier career Saracco was born at Bistagno, the province of Alessandria. After qualifying as an advocate, he entered the Piedmontese parliament in 1849. He was a supporter of Cavour. After Cavour died in 1861, Saracco joined the party of Rattazzi and became under-secretary of state for public works in the Rattazzi cabinet of 1862. In 1864 Sella appointed Saracco as secretary-general of finance, and after being created senator in 1865, he acquired considerable fame as a financial authority. In 1879, Saracco succeeded in postponing the total abolition of the grist tax, and was throughout a fierce opponent of Magliani's loose financial administration.
