Enrico Emanuelli
Enrico Emanuelli (17 April 1909 - 1 July 1967) was an Italian novelist, essayist and journalist. Born in Novara into a wealthy family, after the primary school Emanuelli studied as an autodidact. In 1928 he co-founded, with Mario Soldati and Mario Bonfantini, the literary prestigious magazine ''La Libra'' (1928-1930). The same year he made his novel debut with ''Memolo, ovvero vita, morte e miracoli di un uomo'', which got him critical comparisons to Ugo Foscolo and Giacomo Leopardi.Paola Paesano (1993).Emanuelli, Enrico. Novara
Novara (, Novarese: ) is the capital city of the province of Novara in the Piedmont region in northwest Italy, to the west of Milan. With 101,916 inhabitants (on 1 January 2021), it is the second most populous city in Piedmont after Turin. It is an important crossroads for commercial traffic along the routes from Milan to Turin and from Genoa to Switzerland. Novara lies between the rivers Agogna and Terdoppio in northeastern Piedmont, from Milan and from Turin. History Novara was founded around 89 BC by the Romans, when the local Gauls obtained the Roman citizenship. Alain Robbe-Grillet
Alain Robbe-Grillet (; 18 August 1922 – 18 February 2008) was a French writer and filmmaker. He was one of the figures most associated with the '' Nouveau Roman'' (new novel) trend of the 1960s, along with Nathalie Sarraute, Michel Butor and Claude Simon. Alain Robbe-Grillet was elected a member of the Académie française on 25 March 2004, succeeding Maurice Rheims at seat No. 32. He was married to Catherine Robbe-Grillet (née Rstakian). Biography Alain Robbe-Grillet was born in Brest (Finistère, France) to a family of engineers and scientists. He was trained as an agricultural engineer. During the years 1943 and 1944, he participated in compulsory labor in Nuremberg, where he worked as a machinist.
