Enigma (Ill Niño Album)
''Enigma'' is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Ill Niño, released in the United States on March 11, 2008 through Cement Shoes Records. The album's first single "The Alibi of Tyrants" was released to radio on April 22, 2007. The band has stated they would film three music videos from the album, including "The Alibi of Tyrants", "Me Gusta La Soledad" and "Pieces of the Sun". The album was originally set for a July 17, 2007 release, but was delayed on several occasions. The album is available on most digital distribution platforms, including iTunes. The album debuted and peaked on the Billboard charts at No. 145, with first week's sales of 6,000 copies . So far, the album has sold 90,000 copies worldwide. Ill Niño
Ill Niño (stylized as ill niño) is an American metal band formed in Union City, New Jersey, in 1998 by drummer and percussionist Dave Chavarri. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs and one compilation album, totaling in over 1.3 million worldwide album sales. History Ill Niño was formed as El Niño by former Pro-Pain drummer David "Dave" Chavarri in May 1998. He enlisted Merauder vocalist Jorge Rosado, guitarist Daniel Gomez and bassist Christian Machado and took on the position of drummer and percussionist himself. With this line-up, the band released a self-titled EP. Gomez left the band soon after the EP's release, with a variety of guitarists filling in his spot. Among them were future fulltime member Marc Rizzo, Scott Roberts of Biohazard and Derek Sykes of Demolition Hammer. Sykes also appears on the compilation album ''Métalo'', released by Grita! Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Nirvana (band)
Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Deftones
Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. They were formed by Chino Moreno (vocals, guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), and Dominic Garcia (bass). During their first five years, the band's lineup changed several times, but stabilized in 1993 when Cunningham rejoined after his departure in 1990; by this time, Chi Cheng was bassist. The lineup remained stable for fifteen years, with the exception of keyboardist and turntablist Frank Delgado being added in 1999. The band’s experimental nature has led some critics to describe them as "the Radiohead of metal". Deftones have released nine albums since their inception. Chino Moreno (born Camillo Wong Moreno, June 20, 1973) is an American musician who is best known as the lead vocalist, primary lyricist and contributing guitarist of the metal band Deftones. He is also a member of the side-project groups Team Sleep, Crosses, and Palms. Moreno is known for his dramatic tenor voice and distinctive screams. In 2007, he was placed at number 51 in ''Hit Parader''s "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time". Early life Moreno was born in Sacramento, California, the second of five children. His mother is of Mexican and Chinese descent and his father is Mexican. Most packaging is rigid or semi-rigid and designed to protect the media from scratches and other types of exposure damage.
