Englewood High School (Colorado)
Englewood High School is a public high school located in the city of Englewood, Colorado, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Englewood Schools District. Its enrollment is approximately 600 students in grades 9–12. There are about 65 licensed teachers, 40 of whom hold a master's degree or higher. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and the Colorado Department of Education, and holds membership in the College Board, the National Alliance of High Schools, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. The school was founded in 1913. Englewood has more Boettcher Scholars than any other metro area high school, with 30. History Englewood High's original location was at Broadway and Kenyon Avenues. Englewood Technical Prep Academy
Englewood High School (also known as Englewood Technical Prep Academy and later known as TEAM Englewood Academy High School) was a public 4–year high school located in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1874, Englewood was owned and operated by the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system. Englewood High School closed in 2008. The building is occupied by Urban Prep Academy, a public charter high school for young men that opened in 2006. History Englewood High School was established in 1873 by the Chicago Board of Education and opened for the 1874–1875 school year. Plans for a newer building for Englewood was purposed in March 1974 due to the aging of the then-100-year-old building.
