England C
The England national football C team (previously known as the England National Game XI and the England Semi-Pro national team) is the football team that represents England at non-league level. Formed in 1979 as the England Non-League team, it features players who play for clubs outside the Premier League and English Football League. Currently, the majority of selected players are full-time professionals with National League clubs. Home matches are played at various League and non-league grounds around the country. Friendly matches are played with equivalent teams from other nations, and between 1979 and 2008, competed in the Four Nations Tournament each season, along with Scotland, Wales, and the full Gibraltar teams. In the tournament in 1980, held in Veenendaal, the opposition was Scotland (players outside the Premier Division, notably Ally McCoist, then playing for St Johnstone), Netherlands Amateurs and Italy under-21. Alfie Martin Kevin Pavey (born 2 October 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for National League South club Dover Athletic. Career On 18 December 2012, he was called up for the first time by Maidstone United, remaining an unused substitute in their 1–2 defeat away to FC Halifax Town in the FA Trophy second round at The Shay. In Maidstone's youth ranks, Pavey scored over 300 goals in three years, including 124 in his final season before on 22 May 2013 joining Millwall on a two-year academy scholarship. Louis Tyler John (born 19 April 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sutton United, as a central defender. Career Born in Croydon, John began his career with Crawley Town, moving on loan to Bognor Regis Town in September 2012. He next played for Sutton United, initially on loan before the transfer was made permanent. While with Sutton he spent loan spells at Lewes, Metropolitan Police, Hemel Hempstead Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Ebbsfleet United. Jamal Akua Lowe (born 21 July 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers on loan from Premier League club AFC Bournemouth and the Jamaican national team. Lowe was born in England and played for the England C team, before making his full international debut for Jamaica in 2021. Lowe began his professional playing career with Barnet in 2012. Elliott Mark Whitehouse (born 27 October 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League North side Spennymoor Town, on loan from Scunthorpe United. Whitehouse is a product of Sheffield United's academy and had loan spells with York City and Alfreton Town before being released in 2014. He joined Notts County and after a loan spell with Nuneaton Town was released in 2015. He had a short spell with FC Halifax Town before joining Nuneaton Town permanently.
