Engels Gabbasov
Engels Gabbasuly Gabbasov (, ''Engels Ğabbasūly Ğabbasov''; 17 January 1937 – 11 July 2014) was a Kazakh politician and writer who was a Senator for West Kazakhstan Region from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, he was a member of the Supreme Soviet of Kazakhstan from 1994 to 1995. Gabbasov was a candidate in the 1999 Kazakh presidential election for the People's Union of Kazakhstan Unity. Early life and education Gabbasov was born in 1937 in the village of Furmanova (now Jalpaqtal) in a family of six children. In 1957, he graduated from the West Kazakhstan State University in Oral with a degree in Russian language and literature then in 1966, he graduated from the Higher Party School with a degree in journalism. In 1976, Gabbasov completed his postgraduate studies at the Academy of Sciences of the Soviet Union in the direction of criticism and literary criticism. Engels Vasilievich Kozlov (russian: Э́нгельс Васи́льевич Козло́в; March 24, 1926, – November 20, 2007) was a Soviet Russian painter, People's Artist of Russia, lived and worked in Leningrad – Saint Petersburg, regarded as one of representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, most famous for his genre and portrait painting. Engels Pedroza (born 26 September 1966 in San Carlos, Venezuela) is a former Venezuelan boxer. In 1985 he represented Venezuela on the amateur World Cup in Seoul, gaining a silver medal in lightweights. The same year he scored a victory over future professional world champion Joey Gamache in a USA-Venezuela duel meet. One year later he participated on the 1986 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Reno, where he again won a silver medal in lightweights after losing in the final to three-time amateur world champion Adolfo Horta of Cuba. Engels Air Force Base (russian: Энгельс, formally Engels-2) is a strategic bomber military airbase in Russia located east of Saratov. Engels is a major bomber operations base, and is Russia's sole operating location for the Tupolev Tu-160 (NATO: Blackjack) strategic bomber. The base has a runway and about 10 large revetments. It is named after the nearby city of Engels, which is named after the Communist philosopher, Friedrich Engels. The base is home to the 121st Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment with the Tu-160M and 184th Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment with the Tupolev Tu-95MS (NATO: Bear-H) of the 22nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Division. The Engels MI was a Russian floatplane/fighter developed in 1916. It was a parasol cantilever flying boat with a V-Section hull, and downswept wingtips incorporating flotation chambers. Production history In 1916 the Russian government expressed a need for a flying counter-float-plane against the German Albatros W.4. Y.E. Engels came up with the Engels MI, and after initial testing an order for 50 was placed on 27 April 1917. Only three were produced by October 1917, and as a result production quietly stopped. Engels Teater
Engels teater ('Engel Theatre') was a historic theatre in Helsinki in Finland, active between 1827 and 1860. It was the second theater in Finland after '' Bonuviers Teater'' in Åbo, and the first theatre in Helsinki. It was located on Esplanaden at the intersection with Mikaelsgatan and was the predecessor of the Swedish Theatre. The theatre was built to house the travelling theatre companies performing in Helsinki, being either Swedish language companies touring Finland, or German language companies on their way to Saint Petersburg.
