Energy is an American punk rock band, from Stoughton, Massachusetts, formed in 2006. History Formation and ''Punch The Clock'' (2006-2007) In 2006, Energy - which took its name from the title of punk rock band Operation Ivy's first release, formed before independently releasing their EP ''Punch The Clock'', through Rock Vegas Records in 2007. In August of that year, the band went on to play This Is Hardcore Festival alongside band such as Agnostic Front, Paint It Black, Have Heart, and Crime In Stereo. Bridge 9 Records era: ''Invasions of the Mind'', ''Race The Sun'', & ''Walk Into the Fire'' (2008-2011) After touring with The Carrier in March of 2008, the band signed with Bridge 9 Records in May, to release their debut LP '' Invasions of the Mind'', and EP ''Race The Sun''. Stoughton, Massachusetts
Stoughton (official name: Town of Stoughton) is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 29,281 at the 2020 census. The town is located approximately from Boston, from Providence, Rhode Island, and from Cape Cod. History Stoughton was settled in 1713, and officially incorporated in 1726 from the southwestern portion of the large town of Dorchester. At its founding, it included the current towns of Sharon (which separated in 1765), Canton (which separated in 1797) and Avon (which separated in 1888). It was named after William Stoughton, who was the first chief justice of the Colonial Courts, and the most relentless and recalcitrant judge during Salem Witch Trials, who refused to acknowledge the trials were anything but successful and was infuriated when they were ended by Governor Phips. Cruel Hand is an American hardcore punk band from Portland, Maine, Portland, Maine that formed in 2006. As of 2013, Cruel Hand has released four full-length albums: ''Without a Pulse'' on 6131 Records, ''Prying Eyes'' and ''Lock & Key (album), Lock & Key'' on Bridge 9 Records and ''The Negatives'' on Hopeless Records. Municipal Waste is an American crossover thrash band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2001. To date, the band has released seven studio albums, three EPs and four splits. They have gone through a few line-up changes, leaving vocalist Tony Foresta and rhythm guitarist Ryan Waste as the only constant members. God Forbid is an American heavy metal band formed in East Brunswick, New Jersey in 1996. Children of Bodom was a Finnish melodic death metal band from Espoo. Defeater is an American melodic hardcore band from Massachusetts, formed in 2004 within the Boston hardcore scene. To date they have released five full-length albums, two EPs and three singles.
