"Endless Forms Most Beautiful" is a song by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It is the second single from their eighth album " Endless Forms Most Beautiful". The song was announced on April 17, 2015, alongside its release date and cover, and was eventually released on May 8, 2015 together with a lyric video. According to band's bass player Marko Hietala, Endless Forms Most Beautiful was chosen for a single because the band wanted a heavier song for a single after Élan and it has a "simple structure, killer chorus and goes well for a video purpose." Keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen commented that the song was heavily inspired by Richard Dawkins' book '' The Ancestor's Tale''. Nightwish
Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and former lead singer Tarja Turunen. The band soon picked up drummer Jukka Nevalainen, and then bassist Sami Vänskä after the release of their debut album, ''Angels Fall First'' (1997). In 2001, Vänskä was replaced by Marko Hietala, who also took over the male vocalist role previously filled by Holopainen or guest singers. Conducting is the art of directing a musical performance, such as an orchestral or choral concert. James Shearman is an English conductor, orchestrator, and composer. Philip Malcolm "Pip" Williams (born 7 October 1947) is a record producer, arranger and guitarist, best known for producing albums for Status Quo and The Moody Blues and acting as well as supervising the orchestra parts and orchestra arrangements for the Finnish metal band Nightwish. Kai Hahto
Kai Hahto (born 31 December 1973 in Vaasa, Finland) is a Finnish musician and drummer. Career Hahto was a member of the grindcore band Rotten Sound. In 2004 Hahto became one of the founders of the band Wintersun and left Rotten Sound later in 2005. In 2009-2012 Kai Hahto played about 300 shows with doom-death-metal band Swallow the Sun as a session drummer.
