''Enderal: The Shards of Order'' is a total conversion mod of Bethesda Softworks' '' The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim'' developed by SureAI as a sequel to '' Nehrim: At Fate's Edge''. It was released in July 2016, initially in German only. An English version was released August 16, 2016. An expansion, ''Forgotten Stories'', was released on February 14, 2019. Plot The protagonist is introduced as a refugee attempting to escape to Enderal, a land of relative stability, on a merchant vessel. They are discovered towards the end of the voyage when a ghostly, veiled woman appears before them, causing their companion to be killed and resulting in the player being cast overboard. The player wakes up on the coast, discovers that they now possess magical powers, and travels to Ark, the capital of Enderal, to learn how to control these new abilities. It becomes clear that the player is a Prophet, an individual of intense magical ability who can see into the past, and that their arrival coincides ...

SureAI
SureAI is a German team of video game developers, best known for creating several total conversion mods of Bethesda Softworks' ''The Elder Scrolls'' and ''Fallout'' series. SureAI has released 6 total full conversion mods, which are all free since they modify pre-existing games. They have also released 1 standalone commercial project, with another set to release in late 2022. History SureAI's first project, ''Arktwend: The Forgotten Realm'', began development in March 2003 as a full conversion mod for '' The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind'', and SureAI itself was founded in October 2003. In May 2005, SureAI merged with another modding team, Black Raven, who were working on their own ''Morrowind'' total conversion project called ''Myar Aranath: Relicts of Kallidar''. Nicolas Samuel Lietzau-Schreiber (* May 25, 1991, in Munich) is a German video game writer. Lietzau-Schreiber worked on '' Enderal'', a total conversion modification for the role-playing game ''Skyrim''. He was also the lead writer for the video game ''SpellForce 3''. Projects Lietzau-Schreiber was a project leader for Enderal, which has been in development since 2012. He led the development and the writing of Enderal's team SureAI. In 2016, he worked on downloadable content (DLC) Forgotten Stories for Enderal. In March 2017, Lietzau-Schreiber worked as a writer on SpellForce 3. Since 2021, he has been the Lead Writer for the Spanish game development studio Alkimia Interactive.
