Mark Waid (; born March 21, 1962) is an American comic book writer best known for his work on DC Comics titles ''The Flash'', '' Kingdom Come'' and '' Superman: Birthright'' as well as his work on ''Captain America'', ''Fantastic Four'' and '' Daredevil'' for Marvel. From August 2007 to December 2010, Waid served as Editor-in-Chief and later Chief Creative Officer of Boom! Studios, where he also published his creator-owned series ''Irredeemable'' and ''Incorruptible''. In October 2018, Waid joined Humanoids Publishing as Director of Creative Development before being promoted to Publisher in February 2020. Ian Churchill is a People of the United Kingdom, British comic book artist, who has mostly worked in the American comic book industry. Career Churchill's early work included stints on ''Supergirl (comic book), Supergirl'', ''Uncanny X-Men'' as well as the ''Deadpool (comics), Deadpool: Sins of the Past'' Limited series (comics), limited series, in addition to a lengthy stay on ''Cable (comic book), Cable'', the latter gaining him (along with writer Jeph Loeb) fan acclaim. Deadpool is an antihero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in ''New Mutants'' #98 (cover-dated Feb. 1991). Francis "Fanny" Freeman (also known as Ajax) is a fictional supervillain first appeared in ''Deadpool'' #14 (cover-dated March 1998) and was created by writer Joe Kelly and artist Walter A. McDaniel. Black Tom Cassidy (Thomas Samuel Eamon Cassidy) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Theresa Maeve Rourke Cassidy is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Debuting under the codename Siryn, she later retired the name and went by Banshee, in honor of her late father, Sean Cassidy, who first used the alias.
