Emre Batur
Emre Batur (born 21 April 1988) is a Turkish professional volleyball player. He played for Fenerbahçe Grundig since 2005 before he transferred to Halkbank Ankara in the 2012-13 season. He played 25 times for national team. He also played for Tokat Plevne Belediyesi. He won the bronze medal at the 2010 Men's European Volleyball League and the silver medal at the 2012 Men's European Volleyball League with the national team. He was awarded the title "Most Valuable Player" at the 2012 European League. Batur won the Men's CEV Cup 2012–13 with Halkbank Ankara. Tokat
Tokat is the capital city of Tokat Province of Turkey in the mid-Black Sea region of Anatolia. It is located at the confluence of the Tokat River (Tokat Suyu) with the Yeşilırmak. In the 2018 census, the city of Tokat had a population of 155,000. History The city was established in the Hittite era. During the time of King Mithradates VI of Pontus, it was one of his many strongholds in Asia Minor. Halkbank is a Turkish bank, first incorporated in 1933 as a state-owned bank. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups.
