RBD is a Mexican Latin pop group that gained popularity from Televisa's telenovela ''Rebelde''. The group achieved international success from 2004 until their separation in 2009 and sold over 15 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time. The group was composed of Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Dulce María, Christopher von Uckermann, Maite Perroni and Christian Chávez. ''Para Olvidarte de Mí'' (English: ''To Forget About Me'') is the sixth and final studio album by Mexican pop band RBD, a group that gained popularity from Televisa's teenage-oriented TV series, ''Rebelde''. The album was released on March 10, 2009 in Mexico and on March 24, 2009 in the United States. The album belongs to the musical genres of Latin pop and pop rock, with a melodic dance-pop styling. For promotion purposes, only one single was released from the album, the title-track "Para Olvidarte de Mí". ''Rebels'' is the first English-language studio album by Mexican pop group RBD, released on December 19, 2006. The album contains songs from the group's previous studio albums that were translated into English for the release, as well as new songs that were recorded exclusively for the album. ''Rebels'' falls into the genres of Latin pop and pop rock, with dance-pop and R&B stylings, which were new music styles for the group. To promote the album, only two official singles were released off the album. "Ser o Parecer" (English: "To Be or to Seem") is a song by Mexican Latin pop group RBD from their third studio album ''Celestial'' (2006). The group also recorded a Portuguese version of the song for ''Celestial (Versão Brasil)'' (2006). It was released on September 18, 2006, as the album's lead single. The Portuguese version was released two days later. Background and composition "Ser o Parecer" was written and produced by Armando Ávila. The song narrate a classic story of unrequited love, it tells of a girl who has fallen for a guy who never pays any attention to her.
