Emma Robinson (New Zealand Swimmer)
Emma Kay Robinson (born 26 September 1994) is a New Zealand swimmer who competed for her country at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She competed in the Swimming at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's 800 metre freestyle, women's 800 metre freestyle but did not qualify for the final. Personal life Robinson was born on 26 September 1994 in Wellington, New Zealand. Of Māori people, Māori descent, Robinson affiliates to the Ngāpuhi iwi. She studied at the Victoria University of Wellington, where she was awarded a Blue (university sport), Blue for swimming. Career Robinson is a member of the Capital Swim Club in Wellington. In 2013, she swam at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships, 15th FINA World Championships held in Barcelona, Spain. Lauren Marie Boyle (born 14 December 1987) is a former competitive swimmer from New Zealand. She has competed at three Commonwealth Games and three Olympic Games. Career Boyle won a bronze medal with Helen Norfolk, Alison Fitch and Melissa Ingram in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. At the 2008 Olympic Games she was a member of the New Zealand 4 × 200 m freestyle relay team which was disqualified in the heats. She won a silver medal with Penelope Marshall, Amaka Gessler and Natasha Hind in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
