Emma Malabuyo
Emma Malabuyo (born November 5, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She is a five-time member of the U.S. National Team (2016–19, 2021). She was an alternate for the 2020 Olympic team. She is currently competing for the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team. Early life Emma Malabuyo was born to Joel and Ana Malabuyo. Malabuyo began her training at Airborne Gymnastics in Santa Clara, California, but moved to Texas to train under former world champion Kim Zmeskal-Burdette at Texas Dreams in 2013. She qualified as an elite gymnast in 2015. Gymnastics career Junior 2016 In March 2016, Malabuyo made her international debut part of the United States' gold-winning junior team at the 2016 L'International Gymnix tournament, where she earned the bronze medal in the all-around competition, as well as two gold medals on balance beam and floor exercise. Gabrielle "Gabby" Perea (born January 1, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. An elite gymnast since 2013, she was named to the National Team in March 2016; she received her inaugural international assignment at that time also, at the 2016 L'International Gymnix competition where she won the all-around title. Later in March, she attended the 2016 City of Jesolo Trophy competition with Emma Malabuyo, Jordan Chiles and Trinity Thomas, where she placed third in the all-around. 2018 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the 48th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 25 – November 3, 2018, at the Aspire Academy Dome in Doha, Qatar. It was the first time that the competition was held in the Middle East. Simone Biles became the first American to medal on every event at a single World Championships and the first woman to do so in 31 years. Liu Tingting (Chinese: 刘婷婷; pinyin: ''Liú Tíngtíng''; born September 6, 2000, Guangdong) is a Chinese artistic gymnast and the current team captain of the Chinese women's national artistic gymnastics team. She is best known for her innovative, quick connections and high degree of difficulty on balance beam and uneven bars. Shilese Jones (born July 26, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2022 World Championships and the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, 2018 Pan American Championships.
