Emma Greco
Emma Greco (born March 6, 1995) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman for PWHL Boston of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Greco has been described as a reliable stay-at-home defenceman. Playing career Greco began playing hockey at the age of five, her parents encouraging her to play the sport instead of figure skating. She attended Aldershot School where she played varsity field hockey, soccer, ice hockey, and badminton in addition to playing basketball, volleyball, and softball throughout her high school career. During the later three years of high school, she also played ice hockey with the Toronto Jr. Aeros of the Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL), serving as team captain in her final year. PWHL Minnesota
Minnesota are a professional ice hockey team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They are one of the six charter franchises of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). History It was revealed on August 29, 2023, that one of the PWHL's first six franchises would be located in Minnesota. 2020–21 NWHL Season
The 2020–21 NWHL season was the sixth season of the National Women's Hockey League in North America. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the season was held in a bubble in Lake Placid, New York, from January to February 2021, with all five teams returning from the previous season, along with the Toronto Six expansion team as the first Canada-based team to play in the league. The season was suspended again due to positive cases of COVID-19 within the bubble. 2019–20 PWHPA Season
The 2019–20 PWHPA season was the first season of the ongoing strike by the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). The organization had been established after the Collapse of the Canadian Women's Hockey League, collapse of the CWHL in May 2019, and organized a number of exhibition games and events throughout the season until the COVID-19 pandemic caused public events to be cancelled. The Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) organization dedicated to advocating for the promotion of professional women's ice hockey. Canadian Women's Hockey League
The Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL; french: Ligue canadienne de hockey féminin ‒ LCHF) was a women's ice hockey league. Established in 2007 as a Canadian women's senior league in the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, and Ottawa, the league eventually expanded into Alberta, as well as teams in China and the United States throughout its tenure. RPI Engineers Women's Ice Hockey
The RPI Engineers women's ice hockey team are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I women's college ice hockey program that represents Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). The Engineers are a member of the ECAC Hockey (ECACHL) conference. They play at the Houston Field House in Troy, New York. History The Engineers women's hockey program began for the 1995–96 season, playing at the NCAA Division III level in ECAC East. In their final season in Division III, the 2004–05 season, the Engineers qualified to the championship game of the ECAC East Tournament. It was their second consecutive season in the championship.
