Life and career Tennant was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2000, she played her first role in the romantic comedy film, ''Personally Yours''. ''Sanctuary'' is a Canadian science fiction-fantasy television series, created by Damian Kindler and funded largely by the Beedie Development Group.
