Emilio Guevara (actor)
Emilio Guevara Saleta (born 14 September 1941) is a Spanish politician. He served as Deputy General of Álava from 1979 to 1983, the first officeholder since the abolition of the post in 1877. Originally a member of the Basque Nationalist Party, he was expelled from the party in 2002. Since then, he has been an independent politician linked to the Socialist Party of the Basque Country-Basque Country Left, Socialist Party of the Basque Country. Biography He was born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Vitoria in 1941. His siblings Juan Ramón Guevara, Juan Ramón and Javier Guevara, Javier have also been active in politics. He studied law, graduating in 1964, and joined the Basque Nationalist Party in the 1970s.
