Emilio Baldonedo
Emilio Baldonedo (23 June 1916 – 31 May 1999) was an Argentine footballer and football manager. He played the best part of his career for Club Atlético Huracán in Argentina and went on to become the manager of a number of teams in the Argentine Primera. Playing career Baldonedo started his professional playing career with Huracán in 1935, he played for the club until 1944 scoring 165 goals in 257 league games. He is remembered as one of the most important strikers in the history of the club. In 1940 he played six games for the Argentina national football team scoring seven goals. Baldonedo joined Newell's Old Boys in 1945, but he only played 5 games for the club before moving to Mexico where he played for Monterrey and Puebla before retiring in 1947. Captain Emilio Carranza Rodríguez (December 9, 1905 – July 12, 1928), was a noted Mexican aviator and national hero, nicknamed the " Lindbergh of Mexico". He was killed on the return part of a historic goodwill flight from Mexico City to the United States. He crashed in New Jersey shortly after take-off from New York. Early life and background Carranza was born in Villa Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico, on December 9, 1905. His father was Sebastian Carranza who was an attache at the Mexican consulate in New York. His mother was Maria Dolores Rodriguez Gomez. As a child he lived for some time in San Antonio, El Paso, and Mexico City. He was fluent in English. Emilio Butragueño Santos (; born 22 July 1963) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a striker. He was best known for his spell with Real Madrid. Nicknamed ''El Buitre'' (The Vulture), he was a member of the ''La Quinta del Buitre'' along with Manolo Sanchís, Rafael Martín Vázquez, Míchel and Miguel Pardeza. Emilio Brambilla (26 June 1882 – 17 October 1938) was an Italian athlete Biography He competed in the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens and in the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. In 1906 he finished 16th in the standing long jump event and 19th in the ancient pentathlon competition. Two years later he participated in the 200 metres event he placed fifth and last in his preliminary heat and was eliminated from competition. Emilio Bizzi (born February 22, 1933) is a neuroscientist and Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is an investigator of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research and a faculty member in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences. He received his MD from the University of Rome in 1958 and his PhD from the University of Pisa in 1968. In Pisa, he performed seminal measurements of brain waves during sleep. Emilio Betti (Camerino, 20 August 1890 – Camorciano di Camerino, 11 August 1968) was an Italian jurist, Roman Law scholar, philosopher and theologian. He is best known for his contributions to hermeneutics, part of a broad interest in interpretation. As a legal theorist, Betti is close to interpretivism. Betti's intellectual support of fascism between the end of World War I and the beginning of the 1920s led him to be arrested in 1944, in Camerino. Betti remained in prison for about a month, as decided by the Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale. In August 1945, Betti was presented to court and absolved of every accusation. His political choices, anyway, have not diminished the value and importance of his work.
