Emiliano Veliaj (born 9 February 1985) is a retired Albanian footballer who played as a midfielder. He was a member of the Albania national Team between 2010 and 2012, earning 2 full caps. Berat
Berat (; sq-definite, Berati) is the ninth most populous city of Albania and the seat of Berat County and Berat Municipality. The Albanian Supercup is a single match usually at the beginning of the season between the winners of the Kategoria Superiore and Albanian Cup. 2014–15 Albanian Cup () was the sixty-three season of Albania's annual cup competition. Flamurtari Vlorë, Flamurtari were the most recent winners of the competition, that being their fourth first Cup trophy. 2006–07 Albanian Cup () was the fifty-fifth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began on August 27, 2006 with the First Preliminary Round and ended on May 16, 2007 with the Final match. The winners of the competition qualified for the 2007–08 first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. KF Tirana were the defending champions, having won their thirteen Albanian Cup last season. The cup was won by Besa. The first two rounds were played in one-legged format, then other rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. The Albanian Cup ( sq, Kupa e Shqipërisë) is the main "knockout" competition in Albanian football. The competition started in 1939 as Kupa e Mbretit (English:"The King's Cup"). Just after a year the cup was suspended as the Second World War started. It started again in 1948 as "Kupa e Republikes" (English: "Republic Cup") and from 1991 as "Kupa e Shqipërisë" (Albanian Cup). Today it is the second most important competition in Albania after the Kategoria Superiore. Giovanni "Gianni" De Biasi (, sq, Xhovani "Xhani" De Biazi), born 16 June 1956 is an Italian football coach and former player. He holds dual Italian and Albanian citizenship. De Biasi was the first coach of the Albania national team to lead the team to qualify for a major tournament, namely UEFA Euro 2016. Playing career De Biasi was born in Sarmede, Treviso, Italy. A midfielder, he started his professional playing career for Inter Milan; he was part of the first team squad but, despite this, never played for the ''nerazzurri'' and was then loaned to Serie C team Reggiana in 1975 and newly promoted Serie A club Pescara Calcio one year later.
