Duke Garwood (born 1969) is a London-based, English multi-instrumentalist. Biography Duke Garwood has released six studio albums: ''Holy Week'', '' Emerald Palace'', '' The Sand That Falls'', '' Dreamboatsafari'', '' Heavy Love'', and ''Garden of Ashes''. He also played guitar on The Orb's single "Perpetual Dawn," appeared on the first two albums (''Fur'' and '' Derdang Derdang'') of the English rock band Archie Bronson Outfit on clarinet and rhaita (a Moroccan reed instrument), and most recently played guitar on Mark Lanegan's album ''Blues Funeral'' and clarinet on Savages' album ''Silence Yourself'', among many other guest appearances. In 2011, Garwood collaborated with artist Shezad Dawood in the concert performance 'New Dream Machine Project', which resumed the 1968 recording of Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones and Master Musicians of Jajouka. Butterfly Recordings
Butterfly Recordings is the name used by three record labels. 1970s "Butterfly Records", a disco record label created in 1977 by A.J. Cervantes in Los Angeles, California, and closed down in 1980. 1990s "Butterfly Recordings", formed by the artist and electronic dance music producer Martin Glover (commonly known as Youth). Youth set up the second incarnation in the 1990s before setting up Dragonfly Records. It released many electronic dance albums by such bands as System 7, often in conjunction with Big Life. It is sometimes cited as Butterfly Records. 2007 Youth and Simon Tong formed the third incarnation to focus on folk and acoustic music. ''Drowned in Sound'', sometimes abbreviated to ''DiS'', is a UK-based music webzine financed by artist management company Silentway. Founded by editor Sean Adams, the site features reviews, news, interviews, and discussion forums. History ''DiS'' began as an email fanzine in 1998 called ''The Last Resort'' but was relaunched by founder and editor Sean Adams as ''Drowned in Sound'' in 2000. The freelance writing team is currently spread across four continents – North America, Asia, Europe and Australasia. The site is mostly based on contributions from unpaid writers and has an integrated forum to allow for discussion and comments on interviews, news and reviews. It also includes a user-rated database of artists and bands as well as details for most live music venues (big and small) in the UK. The Guardian
''The Guardian'' is a British daily newspaper. It was founded in 1821 as ''The Manchester Guardian'', and changed its name in 1959. Along with its sister papers ''The Observer'' and ''The Guardian Weekly'', ''The Guardian'' is part of the Guardian Media Group, owned by the Scott Trust.
