Emelio Caligdong
Emelio "Chieffy" Asada Caligdong (born September 28, 1982) is a Filipino football head coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Ontario Development League Boys under-15 team, and also an assistant coach for North Mississauga SC's under-13 team. Caligdong played as a left winger for the Philippines national team, of which he is a former captain. At the club level, he played for Philippine Air Force and Green Archers United of the United Football League. At that time, he was also an enlisted member of the Philippine Air Force. After retiring, he coached Green Archers United, the Philippines' youth teams, and the Perpetual Altas. Early life Emelio Asada Caligdong was born on 28 September 1982. in Pototan, Iloilo. Pototan
Pototan ( krj, Banwa ka Pototan, hil, Banwa sang Pototan, tgl, Bayan ng Pototan), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 78,298 people. The town lies on the banks of the Suage River, north from Iloilo City. UST Growling Tigers Men's Basketball
The UST Growling Tigers basketball is the intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Santo Tomas. The school has won 19 basketball titles including one in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). They are one of the winningest teams in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) with 18 championships, the last coming in 2006 during Pido Jarencio's rookie year of coaching. 2012 AFC Challenge Cup Qualification
The 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification phase saw eight teams advance to the final tournament in Nepal. The qualification draw was held on 20 October 2010, in AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Seeding The seedings are based on the 2010 AFC Challenge Cup. Unlike previous editions with the exception of the inaugural edition, no team has been given direct entry into the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup. Philippine National Football Team
The Philippines national football team (Filipino/ tl, Pambansang koponan ng futbol ng Pilipinas, lit=) represents the Philippines in international football, governed by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and has been playing internationally since 1913. 2005 Southeast Asian Games
The 2005 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 23rd Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Manila, Philippines. This was the third time the Philippines hosted the games and its first time since 1991 Southeast Asian Games, 1991. Previously, Philippines also staged the games for the first time in 1981 Southeast Asian Games, 1981. Around 5336 athletes from 11 participating nations participated at the games which featured 443 events in 40 sports. ASEAN Football Championship
The ASEAN Football Federation Championship (less formally the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup for sponsorship reason, is the primary association football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). A biennial international association football competition, it is contested by the men's national teams of the AFF to determe the sub-continental champion of Southeast Asia. The competition has been held every two years since 1996 scheduled to be in the even-numbered year, except for 2007, and 2020 (which was postponed to 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic). The Timor-Leste national football team is the national team of East Timor () and is controlled by the Federação de Futebol de Timor-Leste. They joined FIFA on 12 September 2005. The 2004 AFF Championship (officially known as the 2004 Tiger Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 5th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), and the last time under the name Tiger Cup.
