Eman El Gammal
Eman El Gammal is an Egyptian fencer. At the 2008 Olympics, she competed both as an individual and in the Egyptian team, losing in the first round to the Netherlands' Indra Angad-Gaur and the team lost in the first round to Russia. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed in the Women's foil, and was defeated 9-15 in the first round. The Egyptian women's team that she was part of also lost in the first round. The 2008 Summer Olympics (), officially the Games of the XXIX Olympiad () and also known as Beijing 2008 (), were an international multisport event held from 8 to 24 August 2008, in Beijing, China. A total of 10,942 athletes from 204 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 28 sports and 302 events, one event more than those scheduled for the 2004 Summer Olympics. Shaimaa El-Gammal (born 30 January 1980) is an Egyptian fencer.
