Emad Khashoggi
Emad Khashoggi ( ar, عماد خاشقجي, born 25 March 1968) is a French-Saudi businessman and the head of COGEMAD. He initiated the Château Louis XIV development project in Louveciennes, France. Biography Emad Khashoggi was born in Lebanon's capital Beirut. His father, Adil Khashoggi, has headed up several property developments in Saudi Arabia. His grandfather, Muhammad Khashoggi was of Turkish origin from Kayseri and the personal physician to King Abdulaziz Al Saud. Emad Khashoggi is also the nephew of businessman Adnan Khashoggi. Château Du Verduron
The Château du Verduron also known as the Château des Sphinx owes its original fame to Louis Blouin, who held the prominent position of head valet in the court of Louis XIV of France from 1704 until 1715. Other distinguished owners of the property included Victorien Sardou, the French dramatist and one-time mayor of the Parisian suburb of Marly-le-Roi. The Château du Verduron is located on Place Victorien Sardou in Marly-le-Roi, a commune in the department of Yvelines. Initially a simple one-story structure, it passed through a succession of owners following its original construction. In the early 2000s, it was purchased by SCI Le Verduron. Jean Walter, (Montbéliard, 1883, Dordives – 1957), was a French architect who mainly worked for public housing, hospital architecture, and condominiums . Life After his graduation in 1902 from the École Spéciale d'Architecture, he participated in the First World War, which he ended after an injury as a military attaché for Georges Clemenceau. Having detected in 1925 a rich ore body of lead and zinc close to Oujda in Morocco, he founded in 1935 the "Société des mines de Zellidja", which brought him wealth and notoriety. In 1941 he married Domenica Guillaume, the widow of art dealer Paul Guillaume. He died suspiciously in 1957 after being hit by a car, leading some to speculate that his wife was responsible for his death.
