Ely Allen (born June 12, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska) is an American soccer player. Career Youth Allen grew up in Kent, Washington, attended Kentridge High School. He played youth soccer for Emerald City Football Club in Seattle, Washington. College Allen played college soccer at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2007. Professional Allen was the 21st overall pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, selected by the Los Angeles Galaxy. During Galaxy's pre-season, in only his second professional appearance, Allen scored a goal (assisted by David Beckham) against Sydney FC in the Pan-Pacific Championship on February 23, 2008. Ely do Amparo, commonly known as just Ely (May 14, 1921 – March 9, 1991), was a Brazilian football central defender, who played in two World Cups. Career Ely do Amparo started his career with América, in 1939. He joined Canto do Rio in 1940, leaving the club in 1945 to join Vasco. Ely, as part of Vasco's ''Expresso da Vitória'' squad, won the Campeonato Carioca in 1945, 1947, 1949, 1950 and in 1952, winning the South American Club Championship in 1948 as well. Eliezer "Ely" O. Capacio (March 14, 1955 – February 23, 2014) was a Filipino basketball player, coach and executive. Born in Palo, Leyte, Philippines, he played a total of eight seasons as a forward-center for the Tanduay Rhum Makers from 1979 to 1986, averaging 5.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in a total of 324 games. The team won two championships during the 1986 PBA season. His younger brother, Glenn Capacio also played in the PBA. Ely Galleani (born 24 April 1953), sometimes credited as Justine Gall and Ely Gall, is a retired Italian film actress. Born in Alassio as Federica Elisabetta De Galleani, daughter of an Italian count and of a Polish woman of Lithuanian origin, Galleani made her film debut in 1970 with a small role in ''Quella piccola differenza'' by Duccio Tessari, then appeared in a number of films with roles of more weight. Ely Guerra (born Elizabeth Guerra Vázquez, February 13, 1972) is a Mexican singer-songwriter who was raised in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Ely Jacques Kahn (June 1, 1884September 5, 1972) was an American commercial architect who designed numerous skyscrapers in New York City in the twentieth century. In addition to buildings intended for commercial use, Kahn's designs ranged throughout the possibilities of architectural programs, including facilities for the film industry.
