Elvirasminde or Elvirasminde A/S is a company and chocolate factory in Skanderborg, Denmark. It is a major producer of sweets and nationally the largest producer of Flødeboller, a Danish version of chocolate-coated marshmallow treats under the brand name ''Samba''. The company produced 1-2 million units per day in 2016 and sells worldwide. The company is situated in northern Skanderborg on ''Danmarksvej''. In 2014 ''Spangsberg Chokoladefabrik'' based in Copenhagen bought Elvirasminde and moved its production of Spangsberg marshmallow treats to the factory in Skanderborg. History In 1866 Eiler Christian Mehl established a chocolate factory in Aarhus which was bought by Anton Theodor Ramsing in 1875. Ramsing named the company Elvirasminde after his wife Elvira. Klostergade
Klostergade ( lit.: Priory-street) is a street in Aarhus which runs east from ''Grønnegade'' to ''Studsgade'', intersecting a number of streets. Klostergade is an old street, situated in the Vesterbro neighborhood and its eastern section enters the smaller Latin Quarter. Klostergade is home to two listed buildings and the historic Our Lady's Priory. Klotergade is a typical medieval street; narrow and curvy. Many small shops, cafés and restaurants are situated here and the nearby square ''Klostertorv'' is popular with recreational activities and an important event venue. Vester Allé 12
Vester Allé 12 is a listed building in Aarhus, Denmark. The building was completed in 1902 and was listed by the Danish Heritage Agency in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places on 5 April 1988. The building is situated on the west side of ''Vester Allé'' close by Vester Allé Barracks and ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. The building has been home to some of the earliest cultural institutions in the city. Skanderborg is a town in Skanderborg municipality, Denmark. TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television.
