Elvin Mammadov ( az, Elvin Məmmədov; born on 18 July 1988) is an Azerbaijani footballer (attacking midfielder) who plays for Sumgayit in the Azerbaijan Premier League. He made his national debut on 20 August 2008. Career On 24 May 2014, Mammadov signed a one-year contract with Inter Baku. On 28 January 2016, Mammadov signed a six-month contract with Zira. On 5 June 2017, Mammadov signed a one-year contract with Gabala FK. On 11 June 2018, Mammadov signed a one-year contract with Sumgayit FK. Tovuz, Azerbaijan
Tovuz () is a city and the capital of the Tovuz District of Azerbaijan. It's famous for its wine-making, and it also has several archaeological sites. Tovuz region was established on August 8, 1930. FC Baku ( az, "Bakı" Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku that has been an amateur club since 2016. Prior to that, Baku played 18 seasons in the Azerbaijan Premier League, winning the championship twice and earning the National Cup three times. The club ceased operations in 2018. Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, commonly known as Qarabağ () is an Azerbaijani professional football club, based in Baku, that competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 17th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Inter Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season. Teams FK Gänclärbirliyi Sumqayit and ABN Bärdä were relegated after finishing the previous season in 13th and 14th place, respectively. They were replaced by the champions of the two groups in the Azerbaijan First Division, Bakılı Baku and MOIK Baku.
