Elmopalooza
''Elmopalooza!'' is a ''Sesame Street'' special that aired on ABC on February 20, 1998. It was taped in the middle of the 29th season of ''Sesame Street'' and featured songs by celebrity guests. About the show The special begins with an announcer (Jerry Nelson) introducing a special Sesame Street musical show live from Radio City Music Hall, along with the celebrity guest stars. The Sesame Street Muppets are so excited as they enter the theater for tonight's special show to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sesame Street. "I Love Trash" is a song with music and lyrics by Jeff Moss. It was sung by the Muppet character Oscar the Grouch (performed by Caroll Spinney) on ''Sesame Street''. The song was first sung in the first season of the series and has been re-taped several times. Emilio Delgado
Emilio Ernest Delgado (May 8, 1940 – March 10, 2022) was an American actor best known for his role as Luis, the Fix-it Shop owner, on the children's television series ''Sesame Street''. Delgado joined the cast of ''Sesame Street'' in 1971 and remained until his contract was not renewed in late 2016, as part of Sesame Workshop's re-tooling of the series. Following his departure, the workshop stated that Delgado would continue to represent them at public events.
