Elle Me Contrôle
"Elle me contrôle" is a song by French singer M. Pokora written and composed by Georges Padey, Kore & Skalp, Matt Pokora, Da Team and Sweety. It was released as the second single from his first eponymous album in late spring 2005. Rapper Sweety featured the Kore & Skalp-produced song to add a dancehall groove to it. It won the NRJ Music Award for "Francophone Song of the Year" in 2006. In 2015, the song saw a revival with a new version released by M. Pokora titled "Elle me contrôle (2015)" featuring Tenny. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. Kore & Skalp are two DJs and producers who have worked together since 1997. Among others, they have made mixtapes, concerts and Scratch performances. And they have produced music for many underground groups, e.g. Eloquence, Costello and la Scred Connexion. Since 2001, Kore & Skalp have been at Sony Music France. "Showbiz (The Battle)" is the debut solo single of French singer M. Pokora, also appearing in the self-titled debut solo album ''M. Pokora''. The single cover credits him as Matt Pokora. In 2005, Pokora was forced to change his chosen name from Matt Pokora to M. Pokora after a lawsuit from French R&B singer Matt Houston who used the mononym Matt. An NRJ Music Award (commonly abbreviated as an NMA) is an award presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry.
