Jean-Dominique Bauby
Jean-Dominique Bauby (; 23 April 1952 – 9 March 1997) was a French journalist, author and editor of the French fashion magazine ''Elle''. Early life and career Bauby was born in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, and grew up in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, on Rue du Mont-Thabor, north of the Tuileries Garden, living in the building where Alfred de Musset had lived. He began his journalism career at ''Combat'' and then ''Le Quotidien de Paris''. He received his first by-line the day Georges Pompidou died in 1974. Pierre Lazareff
Pierre Lazareff (1907–1972) was a French newspaper editor and publisher. He was the son of a Russian Jewish emigrant, David Lazareff, and an Alsatian Jew, Marthe Helft. He was passionate about newspapers from his childhood, even running a family paper called ''Le Journal des Bibis''. In his teens, he interviewed Eugène Silvain and sold it to ''La Rampe''. He worked for Mistinguett and for the Moulin Rouge, where he was responsible for the funeral of La Goulue. He wrote in the theatre section of ''Le Soir''. Hélène Gordon-Lazareff
Hélène Gordon-Lazareff (; 21 September 1909 – 16 February 1988) was a French journalist of Russian Jewish origin who founded ''Elle'' magazine in 1945. She was married to Pierre Lazareff, founder of the newspaper ''France-Soir''. She had two daughters, Michèle Lazareff-Rosier from her first marriage and Nina Lazareff from her second marriage with Pierre. Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture. The term was introduced by Austrian psychologist Alfred Adler in his 1929 book, ''The Case of Miss R.'', with the meaning of "a person's basic character as established early in childhood". The broader sense of lifestyle as a "way or style of living" has been documented since 1961. Lifestyle is a combination of determining intangible or tangible factors.
