Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen
Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen (born 25 April 1998) is a Sami musician from Tana, Norway. In 2016 she won the Sámi Grand Prix with her original song ''Luoddaearru'', and in 2017 she won Liet International with the same song. In 2017 Isaksen started the band ISÁK. In October 2018 she won the NRK-show ''Stjernekamp''. She was the county leader in the environmental protection organization Natur og Ungdom from January 2015 until January 2016. She continued her work in the organization until she was hired as a campaign secretary in Natur og Ungdom in the autumn of 2017. Furthermore, she was elected to the central board of the organization in January 2018, where she sat for six months, until she chose to focus on music in the summer of 2018. She is the lead vocalist for the Sami electronic-joik band Isák which consists of herself, producer Daniel Eriksen and drummer Aleksander Kostopoulos. Tana, Norway
or is a municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tana bru. Among the other villages in the municipality are Austertana, Bonakas, Polmak, Rustefjelbma, and Skiippagurra. The municipality is the 5th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Rockefeller Music Hall, ordinarily referred to simply as Rockefeller, is a concert venue located in Torggata, downtown Oslo, Norway. The building, known as "Torggata Bad" ("Market Street Bath"), used to house a public bathing facility. To this day the surrounding floors of the building consists of Tilt Oslo, Torggata Bar, Oslo Streetfood and Oslo Bar & Bowling. The music hall was established in 1986, and it can host between 1600 and 2000 people depending on the type of gig, show or festival currently running. Natur og Ungdom (NU) which translates Nature and Youth, also known in English as Young Friends of the Earth Norway, is a Norwegian youth environment protecting organisation. It is the only environmentalist youth organisation in Norway. 7,000 members, in 80 local groups, work on environmental issues all throughout the country. Officially, NU is the youth branch of the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature. The organisation is led by Gina Gylver. Liet International
Liet International ( fy, Liet Ynternasjonaal), formerly Liet-Lávlut, is a song contest for musicians who speak any of Europe's regional or minority languages that was held the first time in Friesland in 2002. The goal of the festival is to boost interest in Europe's minority languages, especially with young people. Liet International began in 2002 as a spinoff of the Frisian-language song contest Liet (West Frisian for "song"), held annually in Leeuwarden/Ljouwert since 1991. Sámi Grand Prix
The Sámi Grand Prix, often abbreviated as SGP, is a Sámi yoik and song competition organized annually by the Sámi Music Festival organization ( se, Sámi musihkkafestivála, no, Samisk Musikkfestival), featuring participants from all corners of Sápmi. While the majority of its participants have been from the Norwegian side of Sápmi, Sámi from the Swedish, Finnish, and Russian sides have been increasingly participating in recent years too. Each participant submits an original piece to be performed live in an auditorium in Kautokeino during the Sámi Easter Festival. Originally broadcast on the radio in a limited area, they have started to be shown on TV and livestreamed as well and can be watched from anywhere in the world. Listeners and viewers can cast their vote for their favorites in two categories. A combined televoting and jury result is calculated for each participant.
